Students returning to CISD or transferring from another CISD school must come to school to register.

July 28 – August 9
Monday: 8am – 1pm
Tuesday: 1pm – 6pm

What Do I Need?

Original Documents Needed:
student birth certificate
student social security card
student immunization record
proof of residency (current utility bill for gas, electricity, water, cable/phone)
photo ID of parent/legal guardian
most recent report card (does not apply for upcoming kindergarten students)
withdrawal paperwork (does not apply for kindergarten students)
educational program documentation (ex. GT, speech, special education)
any legal paperwork (name change, custody information, divorce decree, restraining orders)

Does My Child Qualify For Pre-K?

Students must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2017.

Limited English proficient because a language other than English is the primary language spoken in the home. Students qualifying by language will be tested to determine placement in the program.

Qualify according to the Federal Income Eligibility Guidelines. Parents must bring proof of income ALL persons employed within the home (documentation for at least one month of current income). Proof of income can include check stubs, child support statement of payment, SNAP or Food Stamp qualification letter, etc.

The family is homeless.

Has a parent who is an active member of the armed forces.

The child is or ever has been in the conservatorship of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. A letter from DFPS must be provided.
