Students will be analyzing and reading poetry by applying the poetry tools such as repetition, rhyme, meter, similes, metaphors, alliteration, onomonopoeia and imagery.  We will also create 4 different types of poems: lyrical, humorous, narrative and free verse.

Students will be applying poetry skills to create various times of poems.

Students are learning about important scientists and inventors (biographies).
